An advanced case of Ovarian Cancer was diagnosed with significant peritoneal disease which was not operable. 3 cycles of Chemotherapy followed by evaluation indicated the need for Cytoreduction and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC).

Under this surgical procedure, cancerous tumours are surgically removed, and then heated chemotherapy drugs are applied directly inside the abdomen to eliminate the remaining cancerous cells. After undergoing this procedure, the cancerous tumour was removed and the patient was discharged in satisfactory condition.
