Dr Rakesh Sapra is a renowned Cardiologist & has been associated with Marengo Asia Hospital since September 2014 as Program Clinical Director - Cardiology. Prior to joining Marengo Asia Hospital, he was the Head of Cardiology at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad, for nearly 5 years and was also Head of Cardiology at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon for 3 years. He has over 25 years of experience and has independently performed over 15000 vascular interventions, including coronary angioplasties, balloon valvotomies, peripheral angioplasties, renal and carotid angioplasties and congenital interventions, including PDA and ASD closures. He has a keen interest in the field of electrophysiology and has performed numerous radiofrequency ablations, including complex ablations using electromagnetic CARTO mapping.
