Dr Indrajit Agrawal has joined Marengo Asia Hospital as the Clinical Director in Rheumatology and has a vision to establish Rheumatology in this rapidly growing Medical Institute as a center of excellence.
Work Experience:
- Dr Indrajit Agrawal is a well recognized Senior Rheumatogist for more than 25 years of International and National experience.
- After obtaining MBBS and MD from India Dr Indrajit Agrawal went to the UK for further training and education.
- In the UK, Dr Indrajit Agrawal served as Registrar in St James University Hospital in Leeds and in Bradford Royal Infirmary. Dr Agrawal received training under some of the world renowned Rheumatogist in the UK.
- Dr Indrajit Agrawal worked as Consultant Rheumatologist in Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust for more than 15 years. He was actively involved in teaching and training students from Birmingham Medical School. Dr Agrawal also served as an examiner for Birmingham Medical School.
- In the UK Dr Agrawal won several awards and recognitions but the Golden Heart Award presented by the patients is very close to him. Dr Indrajit Agrawal visited and presented regularly in British Society of Rheumatology, European Rheumatology ( EULAR ) and in American Society of Rheumatology meetings. Dr Agrawal has traveled many countries across the world and had delivered lectures to Rheumatologists.
- After relocating to India Dr Indrajit Agrawal joined as HOD Rheumatology in Paras Hospital Gurgaon and had the opportunity to establish Rheumatology Department and mentor Junior Rheumatologists.
- After working more than 10 years at Paras Hospital Group, Dr Indrajit Agrawal has joined Marengo Asia Hospital as the Clinical Director in Rheumatology and has a vision to establish Rheumatology in this rapidly growing Medical Institute as a center of excellence.
